Wyoming Class Information for 2018

The next class will begin on June 16th at 9:00 am at Ascension & Holy Trinity church.

A new session will start on June 16th. Anderson Twp. Class Information

Allison Camp is planning to start a therapy dog class this Fall at the Anderson Twp. Family Pet Center. Cost is $100.00 and you can contact Allison for more details. Her contact information is: 513-290-4840 or email

Volunteer Opportunities

We are still in need of volunteers for the reading events at St. Susanna. Please contact John Connor ( if you are interested in helping at this event.

St. Susanna School, 500 Reading Road, Mason, OH 45240. This is for a library days/reading program on three dates in June and July, and we will need several teams for each date. The school has a total of 18 children currently signed up to participate.
The dates and times are:
Thursday, June 28th from 3:30 - 4:30pm and 4:30 - 5:30pm
Tuesday, July 10th from 9:00 - 10:00 am, 10:00 - 11:00 am, 11:00am - Noon
Thursday, July 19th from 3:30 - 4:30 pm and 4:30 - 5:30pm

Glendale Place, 779 Glendale Milford Road would like to have an additional team visit their facility on Friday. If you are interested, you can contact Darlene in their activity department at 513-771-1779. Mariann Moster and Cali are currently visiting on Wednesday and she was asked to reach out to see if we could find an additional team. Please let John Connor know if you are able to visit, or if you would like more information or to have him contact the facility.

The Crossroads Center is a mental health and addiction treatment center in Cincinnati that is interested in establishing a pet therapy program with Canines for Christ teams. Crossroads Center is located at 311 Martin Luther King Dr., East. Pam and Bill Fox and John Connor have met with their staff and toured their facility. We would like to find some teams that can visit. For additional information, please contact Bill or Pam (Contact Information). 

Central Parke Alzheimer's Special Care Center, 7495 Central Parker Blvd., Mason, OH 45240 has requested a team to make visits at their facility. Any day of the week works for them, but the best time is probably 10:00 am. I assume that visits could also be made on the weekend. If we get more than one team that has an interest, perhaps you could rotate weeks if unable to commit to weekly visits. Upcoming Events:

We have a number of events coming up that will require a large number of volunteers. Please let us know if you are able to help us out. These events include the Mustang Show, My Furry Valentine, and Paws-A-Palooza.

June 30, 2018: Queen City Mustangers Car Show, Lakota West High School, 8940 Union Centre Blvd., West Chester, OH from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. We will have a booth at this event again this year and will need a number of volunteers so that we have coverage throughout the day. Please contact Pam Fox if you are able to help. July 4, 2018:  Join us for the Sharonville 4th of July parade. Everyone can walk in the parade, even if you have not yet passed your Canine Good Citizen test. More details to follow.

August 18 & 19, 2018: My Furry Valentine, Sharonville Convention Center. We will be there both days from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm and will need quite a few volunteers at this event. We are not permitted to bring our dogs to this event. Please contact Pam Fox if you are able to help. (Contact Information)

August 25, 2018: PAWS-A-PALOOZA, Monroe Community Park. More information will be provided as the event gets closer, but we'll have a booth and will need volunteers. Please contact Pam Fox if you are able to help. (Contact Information)
