Heartland Hospice Center
Location: Cincinnati areas
This is to visit with patients in hospice care. There is an onboarding process and the coordinator would get volunteer teams connected with specific patients. Requires up to date vaccination records & orientation process. If you are interested, please contact us at infocontact@caninesforchrist.org

Communication Center
Clermont County 911 (Batavia, OH)
Kenton County 911 (Independence, KY)
There are a couple communication centers that dispatch for 911 calls. They are welcoming volunteers to visit. Hours are flexible they are open 24/7 (excluding shift change at 6am & 6pm).

Queen City Hospice Service
Locations: Westside, Eastside, West Chester, Hamilton, & Mason Areas
Visits with patients and groups at a variety of of locations. Looking for a few consistent volunteers.
There is an onboarding and orientation process (covered by the Queen City Hospice Service). Visit schedules are flexible weekdays & weekends. If you are interested, please contact us at infocontact@caninesforchrist.org.
Willow Knolls
Location: Middletown
This would be a volunteer opportunity at a nursing home. First half of the visit would be with specific residents and the other half of the visit would be in a group session. Volunteer visits are based on scheduling (flexible times & days). Looking for a consistent few people to volunteer.

This is our annual Welcome Week for new & returning students. The event is focused on students' mental health & wellness. We would love to have some furry volunteers here as students really love & connect with the therapy dogs.

This is a PD day for teachers. No students will be here. We wanted to have a timeslot for mental wellness and were hoping the dogs could be one of the options for teachers.

Cincinnati Reds Game "Bark in the Park" Giveback Night - Thursday, September 18th @ 7:15pm

Please join us for a dog-friendly Cincinnati Reds game! You and your pup will have the chance to enjoy a relaxed evening out watching the Reds while catching up with other members and their pups! Our group will be seated in Section 139 of the stadium. You can purchase your tickets at a group rate using the link provided below or the QR code on the attached flyer to this email. A portion of each ticket sale will be donated by the Cincinnati Reds back to Canines for Christ to help us continue our mission and train more therapy dogs! Please note, the Cincinnati Reds requires all dogs that attend the game to be up-to-date on Rabies, DHLP, parvo and bordetella vaccinations.

Meetup at 13 Below Brewery - Sunday, October 5th 4:00pm - 7:00pm
Location: 13 Below Brewery 7391 Forbes Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45233
Please join us for a casual member meetup at 13 Below Brewery! 13 Below is a family-friendly brewery that serves drinks, non-alcoholic beverages and has a local food truck on site with a variety of appetizers and dinner options. There is also ample free parking right next to the brewery.
This brewery is also very dog friendly - dogs are welcome indoors as well as on the patio of the brewery! Please feel free to bring your therapy dog(s) to the event. We will have tables reserved in the indoor portion of the brewery for all attendees to hang out and catch up with members and their furry friends.
