We’re excited to participate in Mental Health Awareness Month at Quality Gold! This visit will include short, rotating meet‑and‑greet sessions with employees throughout the day. Volunteers can sign up knowing their dogs will bring stress‑relief and smiles to the workplace. Parking is easy and convenient right by the front doors.

Communication Center
Clermont County 911 (Batavia, OH)
Kenton County 911 (Independence, KY)
There are a couple communication centers that dispatch for 911 calls. They are welcoming volunteers to visit. Hours are flexible they are open 24/7 (excluding shift change at 6am & 6pm).

Queen City Hospice Service
Locations: Westside, Eastside, West Chester, Hamilton, & Mason Areas
Visits with patients and groups at a variety of of locations. Looking for a few consistent volunteers.
There is an onboarding and orientation process (covered by the Queen City Hospice Service). Visit schedules are flexible weekdays & weekends. If you are interested, please contact us at infocontact@caninesforchrist.org.
Willow Knolls
Location: Middletown
This would be a volunteer opportunity at a nursing home. First half of the visit would be with specific residents and the other half of the visit would be in a group session. Volunteer visits are based on scheduling (flexible times & days). Looking for a consistent few people to volunteer.

These therapy dog visits will be during a regular school day. Seeing the dogs help give staff and students a mental break We've received a lot of positive feedback from the school. A monthly commitment is not required.

Canine Social Events
Pups and Pilates
Wednesday, May 13, 2026
6:30pm
Join us for a gentle, beginner-friendly Pilates class for all ages led by a certified Mat Pilates instructor while enjoying the therapeutic presence of therapy pups!
If you have a yoga mat, please feel free to bring to class. If not, no problem - we will provide one for your use during the class.
During class, we will have therapy dogs present to interact and cuddle with participants. If you have your own therapy dog, please bring them along to enjoy the fun and socialize with the other pups.
There is no cost to attend this class. Suggested donation - $10. All donations made during this event will go directly to Canines for Christ of Southwest Ohio to help continue our work as a non-profit therapy dog organization.

Animal Friends Dog Jog

8am - 12pm
We are excited to attend the Animal Friends Dog Jog for another year! This event raises money for a local animal shelter and is a great opportunity to meet fellow dog lovers and also join your pup for some exercise.
Canines for Christ of Southwest Ohio will be there with a booth to spread the word about our non-profit therapy dog organization where volunteers will interact with race attendees, share meaningful volunteer stories, class information and all about what we offer the community. This event is dog friendly, so that means please feel free to bring your therapy dog to share smiles with attendees!
