This will be used to keep track of frequency for our rewards program "Cause for Paws" as well as to help us monitor active volunteer sites. 


**During the summer, some volunteer opportunities decrease. However, there are still facilities you can visit. Stay tuned for more details on dates and visits as the school year approaches.

Flying Pig Booth Volunteer Sign-Up

Don't forget that we will have a booth at the Flying Pig event. If you'd like to help out, please sign up for a shift using the link below. Thank you for your continued support!

Bark & Buy On The Loop- Saturday, April 27th 12pm-2pm

We're excited to announce that we will have a vendor booth at an upcoming event in downtown Sharonville! This wonderful event is designed for our furry friends and features local small businesses. Highlights include an agility course demonstration and a fun pet costume contest.

If you're unable to volunteer, we still encourage you to come and enjoy the festivities!

The Landing of Long Cove (Senior Living)

Thursday, April 17th Time: 10am

Maple Knoll Village (Senior Living)

Jr. Hope Squad's Hope Week (Middle School)

Loveland Intermediate School/Loveland Elementary School

This is for the middle school's hope week. The kids loved seeing the dogs last year. You can sign up for 1 or more shift.

UC Fresh Check Day

Student visit on the UC campus. This event is a fun way for students to be stress-free and check in on their mental health. This event is a national college campuswide initiative focused on students' mental well-being and suicide prevention. Parking passes will be provided to all teams. Springer School and Center

This event will be of students of 1st-3rd grade students read to you and your dog.  Students in groups of 2 would read for about 15 minutes to a therapy dog.

Amity Elementary School

Heartland Hospice Center

Location: Cincinnati areas

This is to visit with patients in hospice care. There is an onboarding process and the coordinator would get volunteer teams connected with specific patients. Communication Center 

Clermont County 911 (Batavia, OH)

Kenton County 911 (Independence, KY)

There are a couple communication centers that dispatch for 911 calls. They are welcoming volunteers to visit. Hours are flexible they are open 24/7 (excluding shift change at 6am & 6pm).

Queen City Hospice Service

Locations: Westside, Eastside, West Chester, Hamilton, & Mason Areas

Visits with patients and groups at a variety of of locations. Looking for a few consistent volunteers. 

There is an onboarding and orientation process (covered by the Queen City Hospice Service). Visit schedules are flexible weekdays & weekends. If you are interested, please contact us at infocontact@caninesforchrist.org.


Willow Knolls

Location: Middletown

This would be a volunteer opportunity at a nursing home. First half of the visit would be with specific residents and the other half of the visit would be in a group session. Volunteer visits are based on scheduling (flexible times & days). Looking for a consistent few people to volunteer.
